As a global corporation, ABB is responsible for a considerable number of social media activities, blogs and apps at the corporate, national and product levels. The main challenge of this project involved bundling the range and essence of these channels to provide a central dialogue platform on energy and sustainability issues with access to ABB’s world of social media.
Namics used the agile Scrum methodology to develop the new dialogue and social media platform, ABB Conversations, in just six weeks. The platform was created using responsive web design and is constantly growing. The website offers exclusive content from ABB bloggers and professional journalists, while presenting selected contributions and news items from ABB’s extensive social media world.
ABB Conversations attracted a great deal of attention despite its small target audience. A total of 76.000 users visited the page in the first three months. ABB Conversations continues to attract global interest with its regular contributions and interesting variety of topics. It serves as an attractive dialogue platform for ABB, which is also integrated into the company website.
