Migros has issued digital annual reports since 2009, but has done little to develop their graphic design or technical capabilities. Migros achieves three key objectives in its new M14 Annual Report: It is available in four languages, digital only, and optimised for all devices. M14 is based on the principles of “integrated reporting”. In other words, the report is aligned with the reading and consumption needs of various target audiences, including non-analysts.
Namics 13 completely reworked the Migros 2014 annual report in terms of design, usability, structure and technology. M14 takes a major step towards integrated reporting – an area in which Migros is a pioneer. This modern report dispenses with elaborately designed print versions in line with the prevalent mobile-first strategy. It automatically integrates tables and generates charts in four languages.
The 2014 Migros Annual Report has once again proven to be a benchmark in its category. M14 is more sustainable, consistent, functional, modern and integrated than previous reports. Its overall presentation speaks directly to all target audiences: Functional innovations appeal to financial experts, cooperative members and consumers enjoy the emotional approach, and NGOs benefit from the new integrated structure. The report also presents information to employees in an interesting way.
