Health and accident insurer SWICA wanted its website to play a more important role in its customer relationships. The aims of the project included increasing the number of online transactions, establishing a closer connection to customers and simplifying the navigation for users. SWICA also wanted to migrate to a new version of its existing content management system as part of its thematic realignment.
When developing the concept for the site relaunch, SWICA worked with us to compile approaches to improve customer contact – and was repeatedly blocked by the technical limits of the existing system. In a departure from the original plan, SWICA decided to conduct a CMS evaluation with us – and ended up choosing Sitecore.
The existing content was automatically migrated to the new CMS in the course of the implementation.
The updated site makes it easier for customers to connect with SWICA. The fly-out menu simplifies the process of searching for information. The contact box displayed on every page means that users are never more than one click away from contacting SWICA. The location search uses IP localisation to show SWICA agencies and joint practices in the area. The premium calculator is featured prominently on the home and product pages, increasing the number of online transactions.
