With 20.000 employees, Swisscom is one of Europe’s largest ICT employers. Until now, many up-and-coming ICT talents were unaware of this fact. Of course, attracting ICT experts is an essential factor for the sustained success of the telecommunications provider. This is why Swisscom teamed up with Namics 13 to launch “Project 365d”. The interdepartmental campaign is designed to improve Swisscom’s image as an employer and establish itsreputation as a driver of innovation.
Namics developed the design as well as the campaign and recruiting concept for the project. The language, images and graphics target ICT cracks ages 20-30, and are integrated harmoniously in the existing ICT blog. The idea behind Project 365d: Three ICT graduates share a flat for a year, devising clever solutions for future living while completing an internship in Swisscom’s Innovation department. They report about their experiences with photos and posts to the company’s ICT blog.
The co-habitation phase and internship in the Innovation department at Swisscom in Bern started for the three project winners in October 2014. Ever since, they have shared their initial professional experiences at Swisscom along with photo impressions of their everyday lives as roommates on Instagram. They also regularly invite experts in their field to attend events at their flat, and discuss ideas about life in the future. Thanks to the outstanding feedback, the second round of this project will continue in 2015.
