Visana has set itself apart as a digital service leader among the Swiss health insurance funds by seeking to consistently focus on customers and their needs.
These days, most customers use mobile end devices as their chief mode of communication and expect a round-the-clock service. This is why Visana has developed an app to address this need.
By being responsible for the concept and the visual design of the app, Namics is able to offer customers a consistent user experience.
In line with Visana’s focus on customers, our approach is particularly user–oriented:
- We analyse the customers’ needs and, on this basis, prioritise the app’s main functions.
- We develop the concept in co-creation workshops and iterative design processes.
- We verify the concept in user tests and, in so doing, further enhance the interaction design.
We have adopted a semi-agile approach to ensure a productive cooperation with Visana and another agency.
The app places the customers’ identified needs centre-stage, thereby enabling the following functions:
Users can easily download the health insurance cards for the whole family or photograph and submit doctors’ invoices. Furthermore, the customer can manage contracts and account statements or contact Visana directly.
Intuitive user interface
We have tried to make the application as clear and as easy as possible to use by focusing on the most important navigation functions.
The main navigation points are within a thumb’s reach of the user. Ergonomically and practically placed activity areas permit one-handed operation.
Security comes first
You can log in by Touch ID ‒ a finger print scanner ‒ or by entering a PIN code.
